Teams makes the most sense for an organization already working in Microsoft 365. Meetings, files, and identity can then share an administrative foundation. It is less compelling to buy a second collaboration subscription without checking existing entitlements first. A small team should compare the free meeting limits with Essentials, then consider Business Basic only if it also needs the email and storage bundle.
